I'm Bored

Well the Super Bowl is on and I really don't care about it so I thought I would blog. Nothing too exciting has happened. This last week we were all sick. We went to Applebees and that night the boys and I got sick. Then the next day Brad got sick. It may have been food poisoning or it may have been the stomach flu, but either way I will never eat at Applebees again, thinking about it makes me sick. We got the boys some suits. They came un-tailored so right now they are getting fixed, but we took some pictures with just the tops on. These pictures show the boys exactly how they are and their attitudes.
Beck LOVED it. He was Mr. GQ in it and was happy to pose.
Camden on the other hand wasn't. It was a pain getting him to put it on, then a smile... well this is him showing me teeth. (He now has to be called Camden, you call him Cam he freaks.)
This is his thumbs up. It seems painful.
Emery the other day must have been really tired. She laid by Brad and he rubbed her head for maybe 2 min and she was out. It was an interesting way to fall asleep.

I can't wait for warmer weather. I want the kids to go outside more then they want to go out. Emery loves being outside though and asks all the time to go.

Ahhh so cute.

So the other day at church I noticed Beck had something in his mouth. When I asked what it was he said gum, well we didn't give him any gum. I asked him where he got it and he proudly said my nose. Yumm nose gum. He says and does some interesting things. He likes making people laugh.

Treasure Hunt

Today was the letter "T," so what else to do but a treasure hunt? The kids followed clues using all the letters they have learned so far. I think it went pretty well. They wore pirate patches.
Here is the letter "D" for doll.
"M" for movies.
Beck holding the treasure.
They couldn't wait to get their treasure, of course it all had to start with "T".

It was a lot of fun. I have actually enjoyed doing school with the kids.

Boys Pick Night

We usually don't leave Emery in her seat when we aren't in the room because she likes to stand up. Well I left for a second and when I came back this is how she was. She was mad I took a picture first.
The other night we let the boys choose all we did, except getting a toy (that's usually what they pick). These are out of order, but they got snacks and a movie.
Their chose for dinner.... Artic Circle. Not sure why, but they love places that have toys. Emery discovered slides and loved it.

It was a fun night. They like being able to make the decisions.

Bad Idea

So I tried to clean out bathtub the other day. It has jets and when you have them on nasty stuff comes out. So I though, bleach kills stuff, I'll put that in. Well the kids took a bath earlier and the boys just get out and later I empty the water. I'm not much of a thinker, so I though, why waste water, I'll use this and put more in to cover the jets, add bleach and we'll be good. Yeah, I washed them, and added a few bubbles to the boys water. I didn't think about it because when I went to clean the tub the bubbles were all gone, obviously they weren't completely gone.

Few new picts

Nothing new really has happened, but here are a few cute picts.
Emery scratches her bum a lot and this is how she was walking around the other day.
Cam LOVES to have his picture taken, and he loves to pose.
Since Emery doesn't have the bottle, she has discovered food, and also pudding and yogurt. She loves them and eats all of it... well all but what ends up on her face.
She is becoming more attached to a blanket and this is how we found her near bed time. The bean bags are really nice to lay on.
School started today and I'm so excited to be actually going onto campus. This semester will be fun and interesting. Brad is going to work from home Tuesday and Thursday so I can go to class. I guess we'll see how this all works out, hopefully really well.

New Obsession

This movie came out on video this last Tuesday and the boys LOVE it. We have watched it at least once a day since then. Now anytime we are in the car they tell us pizza is chasing us. Also they have their spray on shoes with them all the time, well they pretend they do, and they say Steve all the time because of the monkey. I guess at least its a good movie.

Hulk Smash

Emery wants to be exactly like the boys. They got Hulk hands for Christmas and they were fighting with them today, so she thought she should join in. The are bigger then she is, but she thought she was pretty cool.

The whole no bottle thing is still not going well. She sleeps worse, and eats less (which is near nothing because she didn't eat much in the first place). Friday she slept in the car so I didn't thin she would take a nap. Next thing I new when I looked over during quiet time was this. She must have had an itch the went out.

Riding in the car

The boys have a lot of good conversations when we are in the car. Sometimes I don't know where they think of some of the things they talk about.
On Friday I had to take Brad to work to go shopping. Beck had the iPod and was playing with it, well of course Cam wanted it. Emersyn was bringing her blanket to the car and Beck asked if he could take his. I said the iPod or a blanket. Cam saw the opportunity to get it, so he said to Beck, "Beck go get your blanket, you're going to be really cold if you don't. You don't want this, you want your blanket." Beck didn't buy it. Cam can usually talk Beck into doing what he wants. Beck may be meaner to him, but Cam can talk Beck into almost anything.
Then on Saturday Brad and I went to a movie and on the way home from Grandma and Grandpa Arrington's we asked the boys if they were excited to go to their new class (my babies are Sunbeams now). This is the conversation:
Cam: "Oh with Jesus?"
Beck: "Yah, Jesus will be there?"
Me: "No, He won't be there but you'll learn about him."
Cam: "Oh, there is a kid Jesus."
Beck: "Yah, or a toy one."
We really didn't know what do say to that, we were laughing too much to say anything.

New Year, New Me

I know it's so cliche, but I really hope to make a few changes and when better to start then the beginning of the year. I looked at my journal and two things I noticed. Our resolutions from 2007, maybe one or two of the oh 20 combined, actually got done, and it's been over a year since I wrote in it. The computer is so much faster for me and so one change I want to make is keep a journal, a photo journal for the kids, and it will just be on the blog. So some posts may seem lame and not make sense, but at the end of each year I'm going to print it off and make it a little book. I'm finally sick of my 'baby weight' (well have been for a while, but haven't done anything). New me hopefully will be a little smaller too. I just hope to really enjoy the kids. I think all too often I get wrapped up in, well, blogging, Facebook, Emailing.... all the things that are "so important" (total sarcasm there in case you didn't get that). It's time to make time for play dough animals, rousing games of Super Hero Squad Chutes and Ladders and to find the coloring artist in me and enjoy the things that go way to fast. The last thing, well that I can think of now at least, is to become closer to my Father in Heaven and really study. My mom gave us a book "21 Days Closer to Christ" and I read the beginning and loved it. It can take more then 21 days, especially with school and kids, but it will be done. I'm really excited for the new year. My baby boys are SUNBEAMS!!! I swear they were born last week. Where did the time go? Brad will finish school and I hopefully will be able to start a the Surgical Tech program, or at least apply. Here's to a new and great year.

Emersyn

Emery's world had been turned upside down the last two days, and she hates it. She still doesn't sleep through the night (yes my fault, I loved having a single baby I could hold and not worry about another one needing something) so we have taken away her bottle all the way and she hates it. She has drank maybe 1 oz of milk. She is stubborn, like me, and doesn't want to give up. She'll start to drink from a sippey and the realize, wait this is what they want, so no. The last two nights have sucked getting her to sleep and staying asleep, but we are going to stick with it and hopefully within a week it will be worth it. She is doesn't really eat much solid food, so it makes it worse. Last night she kept saying "my milk, " and I would give her the cup and she would just cry (yes and so did I), but she is learning, or I hope so. She normally is a very happy baby. She loves to play with the boys and be with
them playing and doing what they do. They don't always like it, but they are learning she can be fun too. Lately she has really gotten into books, so I spend a lot of time reading the same 3 books over and over. This morning I was in the shower and she was walking around our room, when I got out she had a drink that was sitting next to the bed, there wasn't much in it, but she wanted it. When she saw I noticed she looked at me and said, "MY Juice!" It was too funny I let her keep it. She gives the best squeezes. If she hears you laugh she will join in, maybe 2 min later, but she loves to laugh. She is a daddy's girl and won't leave his side when he is home. I love her so much, I don't know if I want another daughter; she's the cutest, how do you top that?
