End of Summer

Summer has gone by fast this year. The kids were able to keep buys with projects, so it made it a lot of fun. This past week the kids did chores for money, played games, hung out with Greyson and yesterday we had a end of summer 'party.' We let the kids choose what they wanted to do for one last fun day before we would all be busy with school stuff. For some reason the kids love to put our bed in the front room and sleep out there. We did that Friday night. The best thing for them is jumping on the bed. This time Jackson joined in the fun. 

 First on Saturday the boys wanted to play PS3 together. We rented a game a few days before and they loved playing it. Then we went to Gerties to eat and then a park to play. Soon after that we went to see "Paranorman." It's about a kid who can talk to ghosts and has to save his town from zombies. It was a lot scarier than I thought it would be. We were the only ones in the theater, and that for some reason made it worse for Beck. Then when the movie reel started it made a clicking noise for a few seconds then when the music of the preview started it was really loud and that made Cam done. He jumped and ran onto my lap. It was a little funny to see and he calmed down and sent back to his seat. About 30-40 min into the movie Camden was freaked out enough and wanted to be done. He was scared but still wanted to watch... on my lap though. Soon after Emery was on my lap too. Throughout the whole movie Beck kept asking if more people came into the theater and asked why we were the only ones there. Greyson came and I think he was fine for the whole movie. For a kids show it was a little too scary but we all made it through.  Once it was over the boys acted like they weren't scared at all and it was an awesome movie. Emery on the other hand was freaked out and said it wasn't good. She fell asleep on our bed last night so the zombies wouldn't get her. Once we put her in her bed she was asleep and slept all night. We definitely won't watch that movie again... or any scary movie for a long time.
