New Rewards

Lately the boys have had a hard time listening. They haven't been saying "no" to us, they know better than to do that, I don't put up with being told no by them. They just don't do what we ask them, or they goof off and fight and then maybe get to it. When they were earning money for Build-a-Bear the reward of money was a good one for them. The better part was if they were bad, they would get money taken away. The boys didn't like that one bit, so they made sure they were good. Brad and I decided to start a ticket system. Each Sunday they get 10 tickets each. If they don't listen or do something they know is wrong, they owe us a ticket. The reward for being good is, every other Friday they can turn their tickets in for prizes. As you can see the $1 store is a great place to do this. We'll have other things like going to a movie or get a Happy Meal that they can get too. Some of them they will have to save for, but I think they will start to get the point soon. The kids were so excited to get their 10 tickets tonight and to see all the prizes they could get if they listened and were good. Emery doesn't get it yet, but she was excited because the boys were. We'll still do the tickets with her, but it's more for the boys to learn from. Oh and we have enough tickets to last us forever.
