I love having a newborn in the house. It's a little crazier with 3 other kids, but it's still fun to have him here. The kids are so sweet with him, and it's just fun and relaxing to hold a sleeping baby.

Jackson
Jackson has been here about 12 days and it's amazing how much he has changed. When we left the hospital he was 8 lbs 5 oz and at his 10 day check up he was 9 lbs 4oz. He likes to eat, but I knew that one. He is a little colicky but getting better. We have never had a baby like this so when I called my Aunt (who is also their Pediatrician's nurse) it made sense why he might be a little more grouchy than the other kids. She said with me having the C-section and then the spinal headaches my body went through a lot and was in a lot of pain and when your body has pain it releases some hormones and you can have more acid in your system, which Jackson would get when I fed him. He's had some good days and some not so good nights, but he does let everyone know he wants me. It's easiest for me to calm him down. He also loves the sound of the hair dyer for some reason. It calms him down really fast. The kids love him. Emery says it all the time how much she loves him and she kisses him all the time. Beck loves to hold him, it's only for like 30 seconds, but he asks all the time. Camden is warming up to him more. He holds him now and has sat next to him and just talked to him a few times also.
He is a sleeper like Camden was. The kids love when his eyes are open and they talk to him a lot when they are. We have these round chairs for the kids and it's perfect for him to sit in, with someone close by, but he is like Emery where he likes to be sitting up. He is like Beck where he will eat and eat, even if he gets sick, he just likes the comfort of it. Beck spit up all the time because he would over eat.
When the kids are young I like binkies. Emery will still take one at night. It's mainly us not dealing with the crappy week of making her get rid of it. We told her when Jackson was born she should give them to him, which she did, but she found this white one the hospital gave us and uses that now. Jackson isn't a huge fan of them, but the only one he will take is this pink one. Not sure why, but we've tried the green ones and he won't take it. It's nice seeing a boy with a pink bink. Oh well, if it works I don't care.
