Today we hit a milestone... our first broken bone. Camden was playing at Twin Falls High on the practice field on some of the football things. (we were there watching Grey play football). Camden is a little monkey and flips around things all the time. He must have just lost his balance or hand positioning and he fell. When he came to us he wouldn't let us touch his arm, he wouldn't bend his hand and most of all his arm bowed in a little. We took him to the ER and they did an x-ray and saw what we figured, it was broke. I wish I had something to either take a picture of the x-ray or got a copy of it.. oh well, maybe next x-ray. Since your body swells when you get hurt, they have to wait to cast it. Monday we can call a different doctor to take a look at it and see what we should do with it. For now he just has a sling on. He has just been relaxing all day and tired, thanks to the meds. Doesn't it look so sad.
When we got to the ER he wouldn't move his arm or his hand off of his arm, so they put his name tag on his leg.
They were so nice at the ER with him. 3 or 4 people brought him in different stickers. He decorated his splint with them, although they didn't stay well. Now we are trying to get him to sleep and just stay relaxed. He's really bummed because he can't play the PS3 and a new game came out and he'll have to wait to try it out.
After we got home Camden wanted to watch a movie. I heard him say, "there's a rat." He was watching "Lord of the Rings" so I just thought it was the movie, then Brad said he saw it too.... we have another mouse. Ugh, really?! This time we trapped it in the closet. I went and got some poison and a sticky pad. we put PNB on the pad and poison on that and slid it under the door and as you can see, it shouldn't be able to get out. We'll check tomorrow to see it it's alive or not. We fixed a hole, so lets hope this time there aren't anymore.
