Two Months Old
Jackson is two months old now. It has gone by too fast and I sometimes wish he were two weeks old again (well minus the waking up every two hours). At his well child check Jackson was 14 lbs 1 oz! He is a big boy, but that's how we like them. He 'talks' all the time now. In the mornings he is the happiest and will sit and smile and talk for an hour or so. He's getting better a sleeping and most nights will sleep 4 hours before waking up to eat. Jackson is trying to figure out how to get his thumb in his mouth. He tries all the time, but can't quiet get it right. I try to put a Binky in his mouth so he takes that and not his thumb, but I guess we'll see what happens. He had to get three shots at his appointment. Once Beck heard the word shot he didn't want to be in the room at all, he didn't want to hear Jackson cry, so when it was time for his shots, all the kids sat outside the door. Jackson was ticked and let everyone know he wasn't happy about it. He started to calm down when he realized that he was still mad and started to scream again. Later that night his legs hurt is really bad and he was mad again. I have a feeling he is going to be a hard teether. After screaming a while he finally fell asleep. I love the way he is holding his hands.
He must be having a good dream, which is nice since he had such a bad day.
He has two months until the next set of shots, let's hope they aren't as bad.
