Today the boys turn 6! They have changed so much from last year and it went by way too fast. Here is a picture of the two from today and one from last June. You can't really tell they are twins. They keep looking more and more like little boys and not my babies. It looks like Beck got a little taller and Cam stayed about the same.
Beckham is still independent, very sweet and loving and a great big brother. He loves to help out Jackson and Jacks likes playing with him. Beckham has done really well in school and loves going. His teacher said he will sit and work on stuff rather than go and play, he's a little more reserved, which I thought he would be more outgoing. He still loves to draw and is getting better and better at drawing what is on his mind. Beck loves to spell things out too and is pretty good at sounding things out. Beck is still building things, right now he is making a super Bionical out of all of the pieces he has. He has a wonderful imagination. He is figuring out things he likes and doesn't like, for instance food, clothes and toys. Beck loves listening to stories and books. A lot of times he wants to go and write a story of his own after wards. They are pretty fun to read when he does. It isn't too often Beck gets into trouble, he is a rule follower, which is nice for me.
Camden has improved a TON from last year. He used to whine about everything and all the time, but now he takes things a lot better. If he gets grounded off of the computer, he doesn't throw a huge fit like he used to, he just gets over it. He has his moments still, but it is a lot less than is used to be. Camden loves school also. A few things took him a little longer to get, like rhyming, but he is doing so well. He reads the words they learn really well. His teacher says he is more social and will go up and play with other kids, which I took him as the shy one. They both have friends that they play with, which makes me happy, I was worried they would only stay with each other and not meet new people. Camden tries to be motherly but is a little too rough and doesn't know it. He and Emery still fight all the time, but I'm not sure that will ever change. He loves to make Jackson happy whenever he can. He loves video games and is really good at them, we just have to make sure that's not all he does. Camden loves when it's just me and him still. He really loves the nights when it's his turn to come out alone.
It has been so much fun to watch two kids the same age grow up together. It's amazing how different they are, even though they were born the same time. I am happy we have survived having twins and they are turning out pretty well. They are already talking about their birthday next year and what they want for it.
