We had the Barnes' Easter party this weekend. The kids were so excited to do another egg hunt. I love the age the kids are at now. They love seeing their cousins and will actually go and play with them now. We didn't see much of them all day and it wore them all out. The younger kids get to go out first, so Emery had a little head start. She found what she thought was trash, but it ended up having a lot of money in it. She was pretty excited for that.
Jackson picked up a few eggs. He really doesn't care much about it right now, just get enough eggs for a good photo.
The boys were excited when it was finally their turn. They ran out as fast as they could. The both got a good amount of eggs.
Today we also cut Grandma Barnes' hair. She started her chemo and it will fall out, so she let the grand kids help cut her hair. A few helped, but our kids wouldn't. They are a little scared of the clippers from having to her their hair cut.
Brad took over after the kids were done, he thought a Mohawk looked good but it didn't last long.
I'm not sure our kids really get why we cut her hair, I think it helped a little having the family involved in it though. All of our thoughts and prayers and with Grandma Barnes and Uncle Josh for a full recovery.
