A few months ago Brad got the idea of making a playhouse for the kids. There were really excited for the idea and couldn't wait for warmer weather so we could start. My dad has helped us with some plans for it. He printed some out for the kids and Beck loved coloring his. He even put the flag on his house.
We started the bottom of the house today. We had to move some of the rock, so we had the kids do it to earn some money. They got $.10 a cup full. I'm sure some of them weren't all the way full, but it kept the boys going at least. Emery didn't care much.
Less than half way through clearing this we wondered why we did this, but in the end it will be nice.
We did find a sprinkler but it was easy to move and not that big of a deal. Good thing we didn't break it.
This is how Jacks help... he played, well for some of it. He loves being outside, but got tired and all he wanted was me for a while. He's finally brave enough to be on the grass. He found out he can do more now.
We ran out of nails, but this is the bottom. Looks pretty good and the kids already can't wait for it to all be up. Now we'll see how long it takes us to get it built.
